Troubleshooting

... Signing Up

I think I subscribed, but nothing is happening.
Once you completed your signup with PayPal, you should have been routed back to us for the final step in accessing our services. In a perfect world, that "Return to Merchant" step would have been automatic. If you ended up elsewhere, for whatever reason, you missed that final step.

Not to worry! Simply Contact Us. We'll confirm your PayPal signup, and complete that final step for you.
I didn't receive any confirmation or 'Welcome' emails.
If you 1) successfully signed up with Paypal, and 2) PayPal got you back to our website, and 3) you submitted the two short forms to us, you should have received at least one "Confirmation" or "Welcome" email. If you received nothing, we may have a problem with emails not getting through to you.

Please check your email's "spam" or "junk" folder to make sure that our emails are not getting funneled into one or the other. If you find one there, you'll need to set your spam or junk filter to allow such emails through.

If this does not address the problem, Contact Us -- and consider including a mobile phone number in your message (in case we continue to have trouble reaching you via email, and need to send a text).
How do I upgrade my subscription from 1 to 4 strategies?
It's a 2-step process:

1) Cancel your current single-strategy subscription with PayPal. This "Unsubscribe" link will take you to the PayPal login, then on to the Automatic Payments page in your PayPal account. Locate and click "Webstreet Properties LLC." Click the "Cancel" button. Your subscription has now been canceled.

2) Subscribe to all 4 strategies. That would be the Package Savings Plan. You can find that plan on the Pricing page, or the Compare Strategies page - scroll to the bottom of that page to find the form. Select the tab marked "First-Time Subscribers" to give yourself a couple of free months to try out the strategies that are new to you.

As an alternative, just subscribe to the Package Savings Plan, then shoot me an email to let me know you have two subscriptions. I'll go into PayPal and cancel the single-strategy subscription for you. [PayPal lets me cancel subscriptions, but won't let me tinker with the details of those subscriptions.]
How do I reduce my subscription from 4 strategies to 1?
It's a 2-step process:

1) Cancel your current "Package Savings Plan" subscription with PayPal. This "Unsubscribe" link will take you to the PayPal login, then on to the Automatic Payments page in your PayPal account. Locate and click "Webstreet Properties LLC." Click the "Cancel" button. Your subscription has now been canceled.

2) Subscribe to the single strategy of your choice. You can do so from the Pricing page, or in the main navigation menu, hover over the tab marked "Strategies" and click the strategy of your choice. Once the detail page is open, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the "Sign Up" link.

NOTE: If you've been a Package Savings Plan subscriber for longer than two months, your free trial has expired. Please select the tab marked "Returning Subscribers."

As an alternative, just subscribe to the single strategy of your choice, then shoot me an email to let me know you have two subscriptions. I'll go into PayPal and cancel the Package Savings Plan for you. [PayPal lets me cancel subscriptions, but won't let me tinker with the details of those subscriptions.]

... Accessing Your Account

How do I access my account?
On the row of tabs above, check the one at the far right (or if using a smart phone, click open the menu box in the upper left, and check the tab at the bottom). It will either say "Log In" or "My Account."

If it says "My Account," then you're already logged in. Just click it and you'll get a popup window marked "My Account." In this window, you'll see the active links to the Members Pages of your strategies.

If it says "Log In," click it and a popup window appears. In that window, click "Log In." Plug in your email address and the password you created. If you've forgotten your password, or never got one, there is a link on the popup window where you can reset your password.

Once logged in, that popup window transforms into your "My Account" window, and you should see the Members Pages for your strategies.
Error Message: "Email Is In Use"
If you have previously set up your account, and you wish to access that account, you'll click the "Log In | Register" tab. Once the little window pops up, make sure it's set to "Log In" before proceeding. If, instead, it's set to "Register," it will throw up the error message "Email Is In Use."
It can be hard to tell sometimes whether the little caret symbol (or arrow) is pointing to Register, or Log In.

Tap or click your mouse on "Log In" to be sure. You should see a blue "Log In" button in the lower right.

At this point, fill in your email address and password, and click "Log In." You should see the Members Page in the popup "My Account' window.

Error Message: "Access Denied"
If you log in and you're immediately getting the error message "Access Denied," make sure your account is current and payment is up to date. If you recently canceled a subscription, or if PayPal had a problem processing a payment, Members Pages for subscribed strategies will no longer be accessible in your account. In addition, we may periodically make a change to a page, altering its URL address in the process.

Your browser is probably set to pull up one of those pages automatically after logging in, so that's why you're ending up with "Access Denied."

That said, you should still be able to access the "My Account" popup window and whatever strategies and features remain in your account. If you can't get to that popup window after logging in, the fix is to clear your web browser's cookies, as the browser is clinging to old information.

Here's instructions on how to do that with various browsers.

Better yet, clear the cookies from a single website (in this case, TrendlineProfits.com). You can read how to do this if you're using either Firefox or Chrome, but here are a few images that summarize.

First, go to the website https://www.trendlineprofits.com/

Then ...
If You're Using Firefox ...
If You're Using Chrome ...
If You're Using Microsoft Edge ...
Once the cookies are cleared, click on the home page. You should now be able to log into your account and see the popup "My Account" window along with the Members Pages of any subscribed strategies.
The "My Account" window isn't showing all the strategies I'm paying for.

Most likely, the strategies are there - just out of sight.

The pop-up account window is relatively small and may not show all the strategies at a glance. Check to see if there is a slider bar on the right side of the account window. If so, sliding that down will reveal the additional strategies.

If you're using a smart phone or touch tablet, the slider bar may not show - in which case you'll need to touch the screen somewhere in the middle of the "My Account" window, and physically move it up to reveal the additional strategies.

Note: iMac users have told us that positioning your cursor at the bottom of the pop-up screen enables the screen to scroll to show all the strategies.

If this is not the issue, go to the Contact Us page and drop us an email and we'll double check that your account is populated with the correct strategies.

... PayPal Issues

Can I skip PayPal and just pay you with a credit card?
Yes you can. PayPal is the payment processor for the service, but if you don't have a PayPal account, and don't want one, no problem. You can pay directly with a debit or credit card. PayPal will handle the transaction, but you'll be checking out as a "Guest." And as a guest, no PayPal account is needed.

Here's How:

1) After hitting any of the "Subscribe" buttons and acknowledging that you've read and agree with our Terms of Use and Disclaimer, you'll be taken to the payment page.

2) Skip the PayPal "Log In" button and instead hit the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" button.

3) That will take you to the Guest Subscription form. Complete that form.

4) Once completed, go to the bottom of the form and hit the radio button "No, I don't want an account now."

You've just paid by credit card, and no PayPal account was needed.
PayPal suspended my subscription. What do I do?
PayPal suspends (cancels) subscriptions if there is a payment failure. There seems to be three common reasons why a payment might fail:

1) Your credit card has expired (this is the usual suspect).
2) Payment was blocked by the card issuer (or bank).
3) Lack of funds in the PayPal account.

What should you do?

If you'd like to continue with us, you'll need to re-subscribe (as a "Returning Subscriber"). Here's how...

If you initially subscribed using a PayPal account, and would like to do so again, you'll first need to login to that account and fix the problem before re-subscribing. Again, it's likely something simple like an expired credit card. Here's a PayPal link that will help regarding the expiration date: How do I change the expiration date of my debit or credit card? Once that's taken care of, simply re-subscribe to the model of your choice - or the Package Savings Plan - as a "Returning Subscriber."

If you initially subscribed using PayPal's "Guest Checkout," simply repeat the subscription process using the "Guest Checkout" again, but this time you'll be using your new/valid credit card.

Important: Either way, you'll need to re-subscribe by clicking on the Tab marked "Returning Subscriber." Your credit card will take the hit immediately (your free trial has already been used).

You can find all the strategies - and their subscribe buttons - on the Compare Strategies page.

Hope that helps.
How do I change my payment method?
If you'd like to change the way you pay for the subscription (like with a credit card, different card, bank withdrawal, etc.), you'll need to go into your PayPal account and make that change yourself. Here's a link that will explain how--

How Do I Change The Way I Pay?

Hope that helps.
My credit card just sent me a new expiration date. Do you need that information?

If you subscribed using a PayPal account
, you'll need to login to that account and change the expiration date on the credit card you have on file. In fact, if you need to make any change to your payment information, such as adding a new credit card, deleting an old card, or changing the way you pay for the subscription (like with a different card, bank withdrawal, etc.), you'll need to go into your PayPal account and make that change yourself.

Here's a PayPal link that will help regarding the expiration date: How do I change the expiration date of my debit or credit card?

If you subscribed using PayPal's "Guest Checkout," you have no account with Paypal, and therefore no way to update or swap cards through PayPal. To update or change the credit card associated with your subscription, you'll need to cancel -- and then re-subscribe using your new/updated card. If you do nothing, PayPal will cancel your subscription for you - when it runs up against your old expiration date.

If you'd like, contact us when it's convenient and we'll handle the cancellation for you. You can then re-subscribe to the plan of your choice. Please re-subscribe by clicking on the Tab marked "Returning Subscriber"

Hope that helps.

... Members Pages

How do I get to the Members Pages?
On the row of tabs above, check the one at the far right (or if using a smart phone, click open the menu box in the upper left, and check the tab at the bottom). It will either say "Log In" or "My Account."

Where can I find the strategy's picks for the month?
In any one of three places:

1. The picks for the upcoming month are the centerpiece of the monthly newsletter for each strategy. Those newsletters arrive via email to subscribers prior to the opening bell on the first trading day of he month. [They usually go out on the evening prior, usually between 9:00 and 11:00 PM Eastern Time. If data is delayed, that could be pushed back further.]

2. In addition, the current newsletter can be found on the Members Page, near the top of the page. Click the blue link marked "Download File," and the newsletter will open in PDF format. Click your browser's back arrow to return to the Members Page.

3. Finally, each strategy's picks for the upcoming month are reflected in the Trade History table on the Members Page. Check the bottom of the table for the corresponding date.
When are the charts and tables updated?
For Subscribers:
On the private Members Pages, the Trade History table is updated at the end of each trading day, in the evenings usually between 8:00 and 10:00 PM Eastern Time. If data is delayed, it could be later. All the other charts and tables are updated weekly, typically Friday evenings (although it could be as late as Sunday).

For The Public:
On the public-access pages like the Compare Strategies page, all charts and tables are updated monthly. Trade History is displayed one month behind.
